DO NOT USE THIS SERVICEI have used the service many times and haven't had a problem until now. However, I sent my shooting jacket for dry cleaning and recieved it back faded, with a white residue covering most of the jacket, and no longer waterproof. After contacting the company to explain the problem, I was told by the boss that I had one of 3 options:- They could re-clean the jacket to see if it made a difference, although I am unsure how cleaning it again with harsh chemicals would undo the fading.- I could go to where I bought the jacket (Glasgow), explain to them my problem and try to establish whether it is a manufacturer's fault, which I know it wasn't as I was perfectly happy with the jacket when I first bought it.- I could pay 80 for a laboratory report to establish the cause of the fading, which isn't possible for a student who is only working part-time.I explained that none of these options were suitable for me and I was told by the boss that he had 'better things to do than argue' with me, before he hung the phone up. I find it astonishing that the boss of a company has better things to do than listen to the complaints of a, now previously, loyal customer. I am expecting to recieve my jacket, now ruined, back to my address, having had nothing done about my complaint, which is completely unacceptable in my opinion. No, the jacket wasn't brand new, and yes, I had the jacket for roughly a year prior to it being dry cleaned. However, fact of the matter is that I know best what my jacket was like before I gave it to the company to clean, it was not faded and it was still waterproof prior to giving it to the company to clean. If I wanted to ruin my jacket, I could have done it myself at home for free.
