Amazing pudding. Roast potatoes were a bit hard. But original and homemade puddings and melt in the mouth gravy made up for it. Everything was homemade and tasted amazing. Was a bit pricey and you couldn't get one course you had to get two.
Food was delicious. Piping hot! Just want you need on a cold day. The haggis and black pudding tower starter was beyond tasty! Highly recommended. Staff are very good and attentive.
We had our u3a Xmas lunches split over two days food was great staff very ificiant and polite. Decor just right. Will go back time and again. Recommend Henry's anytime. Chairman.
We had the early menu and it was excellent value for money. The food was served on hot plates veg was fresh. For the both of us the bill was 40 for a 2 course including drink and coffee I would certainly go back again.
Great meal and selection was good. The staff were all attentive without being a nuisance and a lovely location.Although some of our group were running late the staff were understanding and made no issues of this.If back in Stranraer it will definitely be my first port of call especially with the special offer teatime meals which are fantastic value.The main menu however has something for everyone.
